About Us
CCAA is among the oldest organizations in the Inland Empire dedicated to stimulating and fostering an interest in the California School of artists as well as other local artists from the Chaffey Community.
CCAA is a unique organization in that we maintain a museum collection and display the work of current artists who are well known in the region or nationally. We are an association of people who enjoy quality art and artists.
Its many activities include:
- maintaining an art gallery in the historic Joseph Filippi Winery in Rancho Cucamonga
- mounting changing exhibits of local artists
- hosting artist receptions, often in conjunction with winetastings from the Filippi cellars
- sponsoring conversations and discussions with artists
- holding fund-raisers such as art auctions and an annual Honor the Artist event
- providing weekly open studio modeling sessions for artists
About the Joseph Filippi Winery and Vineyards
The history and tradition of the Filippi winegrowing family continues and florishes today with each new vintage as they build upon 80 years in historic Cucamonga-Guasti. Joseph Filippi Teserve wines are the result of a craftmanship derived from tradition, skill, and artistry.
Limited production, estate varietals include Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Alicante Bouschet, Grenache Noir, Merlot, Mourvedre Sangiovese, Syrah, Tannat and Zinfandel, as well as Solera-aged sherries and specialty ports. The Filippis also present vintages from Chateau Reynier Bordeaux Estate and have released 2003 Deux Monde blend with French Vintner Marc Lurton.
