Out of Africa, an exhibit that bears the name of authorKaren Blixen’s famous account of her life in Kenya, presents different artworksthat display the natural beauty of the continent of Africa.
From the mesmerizingclash of elephants to the emotional portrayals of African peoples, painter JosephPitruzzello and photographers Gilbert and Kelly Vela capture the vitalityof Africa that is otherwise forgotten in the modern world.
Through the combinationof different artistic mediums, the viewer is transported into Africa’s vastlands to have their own “Out of Africa” experience that Karen Blixen chronicledso many years ago. |
